Not being treated equally
- - Town issued violations on our farmland, hindering farming.
- - Town bought the land after we couldn't pay taxes, then allowed others to sell on it.
Town gave my veteran partner and I multiple violations on farmland we just purchased and did not let us farm in peace. Then town bought land after we could not pay taxes then 4 months later they allow all other people to sell on it and a farmer was allowed prior for decades to sell his produce and farm goods.

Hello,
I am a homeowner in Killingly, Connecticut, who would like to report a possible consumer issue affecting several homeowners in the area.
On December 1, 2025, I hired a contractor, Wally Woznicki of Best By Far LLC, for a bathroom remodel. The original written contract was for $6,700. During the project, he added an additional $1,000 for a new toilet, an over-the-toilet cabinet, and additional labor.
After the project began, my bathroom was left completely gutted, and the town building inspector stopped the work after discovering the contractor was performing plumbing and electrical work without the proper licenses.
The contractor did not return to complete the project despite multiple attempts to contact him, and I was forced to hire other contractors to repair and finish the work. I have since filed a complaint with the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection and a small claims case.
Since sharing my experience publicly, several other homeowners in the area have contacted me, saying they had similar experiences involving deposits taken and projects not started or completed.
I am willing to provide documentation, including the contract, payment records, and information about the inspector's involvement if your consumer investigation team would like to look into the situation.
